Pipeline Project

Woodside Louisiana LNG (LALNG) is an under-construction, sanctioned, LNG production and export terminal in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. It is a high-quality, scalable development opportunity, with a total permitted capacity of 27.6 million tonnes per annum.

In addition to the Louisiana LNG project, an intrastate pipeline is proposed to deliver natural gas to the LNG project.

Pipeline Safety

At Woodside Energy, we are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our people, the communities where we operate and the environment.

The associated pipeline project will be regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). Overall, the pipeline will meet or exceed state and federal safety requirements and at a minimum will be designed in accordance with PHMSA’s 49 CFR Part 192 design and operating requirements.

Line 200 and Line 300

  • Location: Ragley in Beauregard Parish to Carlyss in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana
  • Capacity: 4.6 Bcf/d of flowing gas with maximum seasonal capacity of 5.7 Bcf/d
  • Size: Dual 42-inch pipelines comprised of Line 200 (approximately 36.9 miles in length), and Line 300 (approximately 33.9-miles in length)

The proposed Line 200 and Line 300 pipeline project is estimated to cost approximately $1.3 billion at full-build out (subject to reforecasting).

The proposed Line 200 and Line 300 will provide potential shippers enhanced access opportunities to domestically sourced gas directly via regional infrastructure located near Texas Eastern and Transco Pipeline mainline compressor stations. This interconnectivity is expected to provide enhanced supply reliability to meet the current and projected growth of the industrial, petrochemical, manufacturing and LNG plants located in or around Lake Charles.
