Macedon is an offshore gas field located approximately 75km west of Onslow, Western Australia.

Gas is produced from subsea wells and flows through a pipeline to a gas treatment plant located near Onslow. Sales quality gas is then transported via a dedicated 67km pipeline into the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline and thereon for onward sale into the Western Australian domestic gas market.

Macedon Gas Plant Compliance Assessment Report

The Macedon Gas Plant was granted State and Commonwealth environmental approval in 2010. Through environmental management plans, we conserve, monitor and manage areas of environmental and cultural significance within the project’s lease areas.

A Compliance Assessment Report (CAR) is prepared annually to assess compliance at the Macedon Gas Plant with the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Statement 844. A CAR is prepared annually and a copy of the report is available for download and previous reports are available below.
