Different strokes for different folks is a recipe for success
In 2025, ADAPT, Woodside’s Employee Impact Group for neurodiverse employees and advocates, brought together more than 280 Woodside employees to explore the value of neurodiversity at work. The session, titled “Leading teams that think differently”, highlighted the unique strengths neurodiverse employees contribute and offered practical ways anyone can build more inclusive and innovative teams by welcoming different thinking.
Woodside speakers openly disclosed their experiences, with trust, communication and supportive leadership standing out as key ingredients for helping neurodiverse employees thrive. The event also proved a learning opportunity for teammates, with diverse thinking being spotlighted as a powerful driver for innovation when understood and valued.
Helping teams and individuals work together with confidence matters, and events like ADAPT’s session keep the momentum going as we continue to build a workplace where everyone can reach their full potential.
