New Energy

While natural gas has a role to play in decarbonisation, Woodside’s New Energy team is actively developing other new energy and low-carbon solutions that will be part of our future, like hydrogen.

With zero emissions at the point of use and a broad range of applications, hydrogen offers a promising pathway to decarbonisation. Our principles for hydrogen developments are that they should be customer led, technology agnostic and lowest cost. We partner with potential customers and consumers to identify opportunities to accelerate their pathways to net zero.

As a graduate working in the New Energy team, you will apply your tertiary knowledge to solving complex problems in areas such as high voltage power systems, electrolysers, compression, liquefaction and cryogenic storage. You will develop an understanding of current and future energy markets, building your business acumen, stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking skills.
