Materials, Inspection and Corrosion Engineering

Materials, Inspection, and Corrosion (MIC) engineers ensure appropriate materials are selected, corrosion is effectively managed and that inspection strategies are optimised and implemented.

As a Materials and Corrosion (MIC) engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operations of our producing facilities throughout their life cycle.

A career in MIC is both challenging and rewarding and will expose you to many technical challenges faced by our producing onshore, offshore, and subsea assets, as well as to those associated with developing new facilities.

Your Experience

Ideal MIC candidates will enjoy solving complex problems and working independently when required. If you have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical, Materials, Physics or have a science background, a Materials, Inspection, and Corrosion (MIC) career with Woodside may interest you.
