Geoscience (Geology and Geophysics)

Geoscientists at Woodside explore for oil and gas in the sub-surface and work with engineers to develop resulting discoveries. You will use seismic data and geological data acquired while drilling to carry out regional studies, asset-based exploration and development of discovered hydrocarbons.

Geoscientists also work in a range of specialist technology groups, responsible for acquisition, processing and quantitative analysis of seismic data, characterisation, prediction and sequence stratigraphy of reservoirs, hydrocarbon charge modelling and structural interpretation.
