Celebrate National #scienceweek with our community partners

National Science Week (10-18 August) is Australia's annual celebration of science and technology. Over 2,000 events are taking place around the country, as we recognise the contributions Australian scientists make to our collective knowledge.

This year's theme is 'Destintion Moon: more missions, more science'. Following last month's 50th anniversary of the first moon landing, we're encouraged to explore how past, present and future space programs solve seemingly unsolvable problems.

Many solutions use big-picture thinking, informed by science and brought into reality by skills in technology, engineering and mathematics.

At Woodside, National Science Week is about supporting curiosity and a pioneering spirit - characteristics that have underpinned our 65 years as Australia's oil and gas company, and also propel us into the future. A future that includes collaborating with space and other sectors to solve the challenges of remote operations that we share.

Many of our community partners are hosting events during National Science Week and beyond.
