Bringing new resources through our existing facilities, producing gas for decades to come.

Our Burrup Hub vision is bold but simple. We propose to create a regional LNG hub on the Burrup Peninsula, where we have been safely and reliably operating for more than 30 years.

The Burrup Hub involves development of some 20 to 25 trillion cubic feet of gross dry gas resources from the Browse, Pluto and Scarborough gas fields (based on current reserves) processed through proven existing LNG facilities ‒ Pluto LNG, and the North West Shelf (NWS) Project.

Delivering these integrated projects will take advantage of the expected global LNG supply gap from the early 2020s, ensuring the supply of domestic and export markets, as well as ongoing benefits to Australian economies and communities for decades to come.

The Burrup Hub is comprised of the following opportunities:

  • Scarborough to Pluto
  • Browse to NWS
  • NWS Project Extension
  • Pluto-NWS Interconnector
